take chances on me.
All I can say about 2018 is “that was a ride.” First thing, I can’t believe that the year is already over; it feels like it just started. Second, I had SO many great memories, firsts, lasts, never agains, let’s definitely do this agains and a few meh whatnots. Needless to say, there was a lot that happened in 2018.
Reflecting on the year, I’d like to say that I achieved my resolutions that I set for myself at the end of 2017, but I’d only be lying to you (and myself). However, I did travel more, I took my health more seriously and tried to have more fun with life than being too serious.
So for 2019, I’m going to make a resolution to take chances on myself. I have never had great self-esteem and rarely put myself first. 2019, I not only start a new year but I start a new decade of my life.
Resolutions:
- Health: I’m going to become the healthiest I have been in my life.
- Professional: I’m going to become an invaluable employee.
- Love: I’m going to truly fall in love with myself.
- Personal: I’m going to say ‘yes’ more, I’m going to support my LGBTQ+ community more, I’m going to voice my opinion more, I’m going to be more open, I’m going to write more.
Here’s to 2019 and to a new you! Cheer!
