As I was doing some research for this post, I came across a video that I will link at the bottom of this post, but there was a quote that goes along with this image.

“Purpose is the reason you Journey. Passion is the fire that lights your way.”

What is your life purpose? Some people can take their entire life to finally figure out their purpose. I have struggled to not only find my exact purpose, but my passion as well. I feel as though I’m starting to figure out what that is. I feel as though my purpose is to help people, but is that what I’m passionate about, as well?

I think something that helps you find out your purpose and passion is your past has been; not necessarily looking back on it, but growing from it. Some people look back on their lives and have regrets. I don’t regret anything that I’ve done. I was definitely young and stupid, don’t get me wrong. There have been things that I’ve done that I think about and say to myself, “what the hell were you thinking?!” But I don’t have regrets. I believe that the mistakes and failures that you have had, you learn from them and you grow from them. Just like the quote from Edison of finding out 99 ways how NOT to make a lightbulb. The thing that you have to remember, too, is to not give you. One of my favorite quotes is,

“The only way to survive eternity is to be able to appreciate each moment.”

You have to do what you love and love what you do. No matter what it is, if you’re embarrassed by it, if it’s not popular; do it if you love it. That is ultimately what will make you feel the best and how you’ll be successful in your own way.
